Relaxation for Fertility Program
The Relaxation for Fertility Program is a six week program designed specifically for women experiencing infertility, whether they are undergoing fertility treatment or not.  This purpose of the program is to allow women who share a common experience to come together to learn ways to relax, rejuvenate and prevent infertility from robbing them of their ability to enjoy their lives. 

DETAILS
When: Saturday mornings 
           from 9:00-11:00.
 
May 1, 2010 through June 12, 2010. (no class May 29, Memorial Day Weekend)

COSTS
Fee: $180 check or cash, covers the cost of 12 hours of class and a Program manual
Participants Learn
Relaxation practices, such as deep breathing and guided relaxation
Gentle yoga postures that support   reproductive functioning.
Mindfulness meditation practices to allow you to settle in to the present rather than being preoccupied with the future   or the past.

Please wear clothing that allows you to breathe and move comfortably.

PreNatal Program
Yoga is an ideal practice for all stages of pregnancy. During a time of rapid physical and emotional changes, prenatal yoga provides relief from common discomforts of pregnancy and time for deep relaxation. Each class is tailored to meet the unique needs of pregnant women. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Ruta is passionate about supporting women in all stages of motherhood.  While living in Chicago, she worked as a psychotherapist in the Pregnancy and Postpartum Treatment Program at the University of Illinois and started a Postpartum Depression Support Group in Chicago's Northwest suburbs.
 
She has extensive training in Mind-Body medicine, having completed professional training in Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction(MBSR), and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

COSTS

A long-time yoga practitioner, she began to practice meditation as a way to cope with health problems that she experienced during pregnancy. She is certified as a teacher of Hatha Yoga and  Prenatal Yoga. In 2009 she completed a Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with author and yogi Rolf Gates.
 
She is married and is the mother of three.
